Protein Packed Desserts: Chocolate Mug Cake

If you’re looking for a super easy to make, delicious protein packed dessert recipe, you’ll LOVE this chocolate mug cake. Dieting can be hard–but desperate times call for desperate measures & necessity breeds invention, which is why I ultimately HAD no choice but to come up with this recipe! Don’t get your hopes up, it doesn’t look QUITE as delicious as the stock photo I pulled below; however, it does taste just as good. Keep scrolling for the full recipe!

Here are the deets. You will need:

-1 scoop of Ironmade Nutrition Pure Isolate Whey in your favorite flavor I used chocolate

-1 tsp unsweetened cocoa

-1/4 tsp baking soda

-4-6 drops of stevia (optional)

-1/4 cup cashew milk

Directions for Making this Delicious Protein Packed Dessert:

Spray a small mug with Pam then add all ingredients and mix well.

Microwave for 1:00 and if you like, top it with a tsp of natural peanut butter, some walden farms chocolate or caramel syrup, some fresh berries… your imagination is our only limit!

This decadent treat is under 150 calories without the peanut butter… not too shabby! And if you are watching calories but love peanut butter like I do, try taking a little PB2 and mixing it with a little water then add that on top for the perfect flavor combination minus all of the added calories from fat!
